Hales Hill Farm Caravan and Camping Park is set in a beautiful, quiet riverside location only 6 miles from the centre of York.
Hales Hill Farm Caravan Park is a small, family-run site on a working 60-acre farm on which you can explore the riverbank, paths, and meadows. We have 20 seasonal touring pitches, 30 static pitches and welcome touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents.
Visitors enjoy a 60 acre farm with 650m of riverside meadows, with immediate access to public footpaths or quiet roads and bridleways connecting to local villages, pubs etc.
You can cycle out from site on quiet rural lanes into York just 6 miles away or explore and maybe taking in a pub lunch. National Cycle Network Route 65 from York to Selby, is 4 miles on rural roads from the park. National Route 65 of the National Cycle Network is 131 miles long and runs from Hornsea on the East Coast to Middlesbrough and also links with the Trans Pennine Trail (east) cycle route between Selby and Hornsea. The route is fully open and signed.
Coarse fishing in the River Ouse is welcome subject to prior permission of the park owner.
The unspoilt nature of the farm encourages field, water and farmyard birds in abundance.
There is a water ski club on site, which welcomes potential joiners. Use of the slipway into the river is strictly subject to the prior permission of the site owner.
